ICRP第一委員会　年会に島田理事長が委員として参加

 ICRP（国際放射線防護委員会）第一委員会の2021年年会が11月2日〜5日（中央ヨーロッパ時間）にオンラインで開催され、今年度、委員に就任した当所の島田理事長が参加しました。当初、バンクーバー（カナダ）で開催される予定でしたが、コロナウィルス感染症流行のため、オンライン開催となったものです。

 会合では、以下のタスクグループならびにサブグループの検討状況とMELODI（学際的欧州低線量イニシアチブ）、UNSCEAR（原子放射線の影響に関する国連科学委員会）、WHO（世界保健機関）、IAEA（国際原子力機関）などの国際機関での放射線防護に関する検討状況、そして各委員の専門分野についての新知見について議論されました。また、来年11月にバンクーバーにおいて年会、及びICRPシンポジウムを開催することが了承されました。
